Also I have a broken heart so I will be a bit slower on updates. I’m watching some perspective videos by Erik Olson as well. After I finish that I’m going to take a look at Marshall’s videos.
I got a book on light theory! How exciting.

This is my drawing self improvement blog to become a better artist.

Just doing the upper back…I still have to cover the arms.
Also this is for a comic and I don’t really have to draw the muscles. The people are wearing clothes.
I don’t know how long it will take to dry until I can start building up layers.
also practice more on holographic fabric but it was more of a value study.
Read up more on this clay…not good for small details at all. Not recommended.
Was trying to paint right hand and feet but colors didn’t come out right. Oh well, next time.
I will use polymer clay next time. This clay that I’m using keeps breaking because it’s a stiff and crumbling type clay (breaks on the spinal process and ribs). But I am finally finished with the scapula, just need to mold the skeletal hand before baking.
I’ve made more notes. I’ve decided to write with a blue pencil since I keep getting graphite on my hand. I’m almost out of General’s Colortex np blue pencil. Haven’t gone through Prismacolor’s np pencil yet.
But I’m using parchment paper to draw artistic anatomy of the thighs and gluteal muscles.
