Gestures helped me sketch pretty fast. Not as accurate but I’ll get there one day.

Gestures and actually hands.
Updated my YNH! blog.
The finished comic is on the blog and here. I rushed it. There was no incentive to try my best. QQ I forgot how to draw legs.
And I messed up on my lizard. Guess I should scrap it. (The mouth is destroyed beyond repair.)
Gestures and heads tomorrow. For now, I sleep.

Practiced on values yesterday. And started using water color pencils for a /LAS/ challenge on /ic/ that I missed.
Edit: Also practicing on SAI. Can’t get too rusty now. My stomach hurts so I will stop here for now.
Head sketch.
I’m still drawing head planes, so I’m practicing. I’m sketching a bit faster though. And I put the lights on the diaroma.

Either than waiting for batteries again, I’m done.
At this rate my drawing skills need some catching up to do.

Done. Took me all night. I can’t complete the bottom portion until I get batteries. I’m going to sleep.

My sibling wants me to complete this, and since it requires putting together small pieces, it will take some time.
I’m taking a while on Week 3 since I’m researching facial planes not covered by Hampton’s videos. Neither is study on skull planes.
Getting some early sleep.
This is all the update for today. I’ve been reading Brothers Karamazov (Pevear translation, so good) so I was preoccupied with something other than my fundementals. I also had time to watch Week 4 of Hampton. It’s delving into torso muscles.
Fixing insertion points.
So it turns out the insertion points for the sternocleidomastoid is the sternum and top of the clavicle. Either I misheard Hampton or I’m being ridiculous. Actually the name seems really obvious now.
